Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Elko, NV, for the role of Underground Miner. Responsibilities include operating underground mining equipment for development or production, adhering strictly to safety procedures, and maintaining equipment. The role also involves conducting pre-operational checks, mucking, scaling, and ensuring adherence to work assignments and shift tasks. Collaboration with the underground team to achieve production targets, troubleshoot operational challenges, and maintain a safe work environment is integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating underground mining equipment, such as drilling rigs, haulage trucks, and loaders
• Knowledge and experience in mine safety protocols and equipment maintenance practices
• Skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving in underground operations
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work in challenging underground environments
• Valid Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) certification is preferred
• Ability to work in a team environment with strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of underground mining techniques and best practices
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions
