Medical Office Administrator & Data Entry Clerk
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional administrative support in a fast-paced medical or dental office setting. This role involves managing front desk operations, handling patient interactions, and ensuring smooth office workflows.
Experience with electronic medical records and medical terminology is essential, along with proficiency in office management systems such as Epic and Dentrix.

Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors professionally at the front desk, providing excellent customer service.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, scheduling appointments, and confirming patient visits.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using systems like Epic and Dentrix.
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including collecting insurance information and payments.
- Prepare and update patient charts, ensuring all documentation complies with healthcare regulations.
- Answer inquiries via phone or in person, providing information about services and appointment availability.
- Support clinical staff by managing administrative tasks related to patient care coordination.
- Handle correspondence, faxing, scanning, and filing documents efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized front office environment to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or Medical Office Assistant preferred; dental office experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems such as Epic and Dentrix.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Experience with office equipment including multi-line phone systems, printers, and scanners.
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—along with professional demeanor.
- Previous office experience in healthcare settings is highly desirable.

Pay: $17.20-$26.05 per hour
