Job Summary

We’re looking for a Paid Media Specialist to support our paid media team in the execution and day-to-day management of paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, Amazon Ads, and other traffic sources.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. Your job will be to bring those plans to life, setting up campaigns, monitoring performance, making daily optimizations, pulling reports, and keeping everything running smoothly inside the ad platforms.

We’re looking for someone who has experience to handle campaign tasks independently once given direction, but who also communicates well and keeps the team informed on what’s happening across accounts. Responsibilities

  • Set up and launch paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, Amazon Ads, and other platforms based on provided briefs and strategic direction
  • Handle daily campaign monitoring: check performance, adjust bids, manage budgets, pause underperforming ads, and scale what’s working
  • Build and maintain campaign structures, ad sets, ad groups, audiences, and keyword lists as directed
  • Execute A/B tests on creatives, copy, audiences, and placements following the established testing plan
  • Pull performance data from ad platforms and analytics tools, organize it, and prepare clear reports for the team to review
  • Implement, verify, and troubleshoot tracking pixels, UTM parameters, and conversion tags across all active campaigns
  • Upload and manage ad creatives (images, videos, copy) provided by the design team into the advertising platforms
  • Perform quality assurance checks on all ads, landing pages, and tracking setups before campaigns go live
  • Keep campaign documentation, naming conventions, asset libraries, and internal records organized and up to date
  • Research audience segments, competitor ads, and platform trends when requested, and share findings with the team
  • Flag performance issues, budget pacing concerns, tracking errors, or new opportunities promptly
  • Assist with any additional paid media tasks as needed to support the team’s goals

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working inside digital advertising platforms
  • Working proficiency with Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, Performance Max, and/or YouTube)
  • Experience with Meta Ads Manager (Facebook & Instagram), including campaign setup, audience building, and basic optimization
  • Experience with Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display) and understanding of marketplace advertising fundamentals
  • Experience with at least one additional traffic source such as TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Snapchat Ads, Pinterest Ads, Microsoft Ads, or programmatic platforms
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret data insights and adjust campaigns accordingly for optimal performance.
  • Comfortable navigating Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking setups
  • Ability to follow direction, execute tasks independently, and communicate progress clearly
  • Strong attention to detail, you catch errors before they go live
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines at once

Preferred Qualifications

  • AI builder: You actively use AI tools to streamline processes, reduce manual work, automate repetitive tasks, and improve your ability to understand and act on campaign insights and data
  • Experience in e-commerce advertising
  • Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
  • Experience with A/B testing tools or landing page platforms
  • Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation tools
  • Experience with reporting dashboards (Looker Studio, Google Data Studio, or similar)
  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field
