Cybersecurity Engineer - Endpoint Detection

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Cybersecurity Engineer to join ourteam and help strengthen our SIEM security posture. This role focuses onmanaging and optimizing SIEM solutions, with a strong emphasis on Exabeam. Theideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles,endpoint security technologies, and a willingness to learn and grow in afast-paced environment. What You'll Do:

Assist in configuration, tuning, and maintenance of Exabeam and Sentinel and other security tools.

Support incidentresponse activities related to detections, including investigation andremediation.

Perform routinehealth checks and ensure SIEM components are functioning properly.

Collaborate withsenior engineers and SOC analysts in a regular tuning and rule developmentcadence.

Document processes,configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharing.

Stay current withemerging threats and security trends related to endpoint protection.

What You'll Need:

Experiencewith SIEM platforms and log analysis.

Experience: Should have overall 5 years of experience and 3 years of relevantexperience

Exposure to AWS and Microsoft Azure.

Basic scripting and querying skills (PowerShell, Python, SQL).

Industrycertifications such as CompTIA Security+, CrowdStrike Certified FalconAdministrator (CCFA).

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The maximum salary this role position is $40,560 annually [or $19.50 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
