Job Description
As the Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for development and implementation of business solutions and tools such as data aggregation, report automation, and dashboard creation. Support the business by providing reports, analysis, and data-driven insights. This role works directly with various divisions across the organization to drive completion of various data and analytics projects.
What You Will Do in This Role:
- Develop and support Business Intelligence reports and analysis for sales, marketing, operational, finance, and administrative departments.
- Manage projects by defining milestones, establishing timelines, tracking progress, and holding business partners accountable to agreed-upon deadlines.
- Communicate complex data, analysis, and technical concepts in a clear, practical way to non-technical employees and business partners.
- Creation of dashboards and tools using various data sources to support business functions.
- Provide analytical support to managers and departments.
- Aggregate and analyze various data sets to provide actionable insights.
- Develop technical solutions to improve access to data and related reporting.
- Promote, train, and support Business Intelligence tools and environment within the user community.
- Identify opportunities for reducing reporting redundancies and drive reporting consistency through both development and stewardship.
- Update documentation, reports, and maintain training materials associated with Business Intelligence. Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in self-directed, proactive data analysis
- Experience creating data visualizations using Power BI (or a combination of SQL, Power BI, and Tableau)
- Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders
- Skilled at translating data into clear, actionable business insights
