Job Title: Conversion Manager / Analyst – LIHTC Real Estate (US Affordable Housing)
Location: India (Remote)

Role Overview
We are seeking highly detail-oriented professionals to support the conversion of real estate developments into stabilized, income-producing assets under the US Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program.
This role is heavily focused on:
- Financial data reconciliation
- Documentation management
- Compliance and reporting
- Process execution with high accuracy
The position is best suited for candidates with an audit or accounting background who are comfortable working with structured processes and large datasets.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Cost Certification Support
- Prepare and reconcile project financial data (trial balances, cost reports, sources & uses)
- Assist in the preparation of cost certification packages
- Identify and flag inconsistencies across financial documents
- Categorize costs based on defined eligibility rules
Documentation & Compliance
- Organize and maintain structured digital files for each project
- Compile documentation required for regulatory submissions (8609 applications)
- Ensure completeness and consistency across all submission materials
Process & Workflow Management
- Track project timelines and deliverables across multiple deals
- Maintain internal trackers and dashboards (e.G., Monday.Com or Excel-based systems)
- Proactively flag delays, missing information, or risks
Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with US-based team members
- Prepare draft summaries, reports, and responses for review
- Participate in regular coordination calls
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com)
- 1–6 years of relevant experience
- 8 plus years of experience required.
- CA/CPA having Audit experience.
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Experience with financial reconciliation and documentation
Preferred
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA Inter (in progress)
- Experience in audit (Big 4 or mid-tier firms strongly preferred)
- Experience in real estate accounting or fund accounting
