We are looking for an experienced Lead Application Support Analyst who will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of our essential business applications. You will provide excellent technical and functional support, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analyses to prevent future occurrences. Collaborating with business users, developers, and vendors, you will help maintain smooth system operations, drive process improvements, and enhance workflows. With your strong analytical skills and technical knowledge, you will lead initiatives to improve application monitoring, automate processes, and maximize efficiency while juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The salary range for this position is $140,000.00 to $150,000.00.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced technical and functional support for our enterprise applications, ensuring optimal availability and performance.
- Quickly troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents, service requests, and system issues.
- Conduct thorough root cause analyses and implement effective solutions to prevent recurring issues.
- Collaborate closely with business users, developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors to tackle application-related challenges and implement improvements.
- Monitor application performance, conduct regular health checks, and ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Document support procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines to promote knowledge sharing and consistency.
- Participate in application upgrades, patches, testing, and deployment activities.
- Seek opportunities for process optimization, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Assist with change management, incident management, and release management following ITIL best practices.
- Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of enterprise application architecture, integrations, databases, and APIs.
- Analytical Skills: Exhibit strong capabilities in analyzing complex issues, identifying root causes, and creating effective solutions.
- Problem-Solving: Show proficiency in troubleshooting application and system performance challenges, particularly under pressure.
- Business Acumen: Understand how applications support business processes and workflows to achieve organizational objectives.
- Communication: Display excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork with business users, developers, and vendors.
- Process Management: Have knowledge of ITIL practices, including incident, problem, and change management.
- Project Coordination: Manage multiple priorities effectively, meet deadlines, and contribute to system enhancement projects.
- Documentation: Skilled in creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years in application support, systems analysis, or related IT roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Technical Experience: Hands-on expertise with enterprise applications, system integrations, SQL or database queries, and incident management tools.
- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), and automation or monitoring tools.
- Licenses/Certifications (Preferred): ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform or Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, Oracle Certified Professional, or similar relevant certifications.
