- To ensure the safety and satisfaction of CarMaxs customers, automotive technicians are tasked with examining, refurbishing, and repairing vehicles
- Coordinating efforts with colleagues to effectively resolve technical dilemmas
- Acquire hands-on experience in fixing domestic and foreign cars to become a proficient auto mechanic

Qualifications and Requirements:
- This job requires individuals with extensive knowledge of engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and heating and air conditioning systems
- Understanding health and safety regulations can prevent workplace accidents and injuries
- Accomplished manipulation of one's digits and enduring body vigor, move massive loads, and sustain mobility and verticality for extended periods
- Excelling at managing multiple tasks in a challenging work environment
- One of the keys to success is being able to communicate effectively and give close attention to details
- Owning a current motorist's permit
- Maintaining ASE Certifications in Steering and Suspension (A4), Brakes (A5), Heating Air Conditioning (A7), Electrical (A6), Engine Repair (A1), Manual Drive Train and Axles (A3), Engine Performance (A8), and Automatic Transmission/Transaxle (A2) is mandatory under State or Local law
