What you will do - Essential responsibilities:

• The main duty of CarMaxs automotive technicians is to inspect, restore, and mend vehicles to guarantee the safety and satisfaction of the customers
• Working in unison with a group to promptly rectify complex technical problems
• Develop expertise in repairing various models of foreign and American-made automobiles to enhance your mechanic career

• The ability to use one's hands skillfully and endure physically, hoist substantial items, and stay on one's feet and in motion for prolonged periods
• Juggling multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure work environment
• The ability to communicate well and pay close attention to details can make all the difference in achieving success
• Having a valid driver's license
• State or Local legislation necessitates having ASE Certifications in Steering and Suspension (A4), Brakes (A5), Heating Air Conditioning (A7), Electrical (A6), Engine Repair (A1), Manual Drive Train and Axles (A3), Engine Performance (A8), and Automatic Transmission/Transaxle (A2)
