Job Summary

Amnex Infotechnologies is looking for an experienced NOC Engineer to monitor, manage, and support network and system operations. The role focuses on proactive monitoring, incident handling, and ensuring high availability of IT infrastructure as per defined SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

The NOC Engineer will monitor network, server, and application performance using monitoring tools and dashboards. The role involves identifying alerts, analyzing incidents, and performing first-level troubleshooting. The candidate will escalate issues to relevant internal teams or vendors as per defined procedures and ensure timely resolution. Maintaining incident logs, preparing reports, and updating ticketing systems are essential responsibilities. The role also requires coordination with cross-functional teams and adherence to shift-based NOC operations.

Required Skills & Knowledge

The candidate should have strong knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and routing basics. Experience with network and system monitoring tools is required along with log analysis and incident management. Understanding of SLAs, uptime requirements, and escalation matrices is important. Good documentation skills and the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams are expected.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in NOC or IT infrastructure support. The candidate should be willing to work in shifts, handle pressure situations, and follow standard operating procedures.
