IT Applications Specialist – AEC Software
Kansas City, MO (Onsite) | 🕒 12+ Month Contract

Capstone IT is helping our client to find an IT Applications Specialist who will provide advanced support for engineering and design applications across a nationwide AEC environment. This person will troubleshoot complex issues, improve IT processes, manage application licensing, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure optimal performance of critical design tools.

- Advanced troubleshooting (Tier II/III support)

Responsibilities
- Provide Tier II/III support for design applications
- Troubleshoot software, licensing, and system issues
- Manage ServiceNow tickets and reduce backlog
- Maintain documentation and knowledge base
- Analyze trends and improve IT processes
- Support deployment and licensing of AEC tools
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Train users and support adoption of tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years supporting engineering/design applications
- Experience with Autodesk, Bentley, Hexagon, ESRI, etc.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with software deployment and licensing
