Real Estate Executive Assistant / Licensed Associate - Luxury Residential | Washington, DC

Capital Residential Properties
Washington, District of Columbia, US$50k – $80kPosted April 22, 2026

Job Description

I’m a luxury residential real estate broker based in Northwest Washington, DC, hiring a full-time executive assistant / licensed associate to work directly with me across DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. The role also includes exposure to multifamily, land, and select development opportunities.

This is a long-term position for someone who is highly reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The goal is to become a true right hand - someone I can depend on to keep listings, client communication, and transactions moving efficiently, including stepping in to handle showings and on-the-ground needs when I am unavailable or traveling.

This is not a build-your-own-sales-business role. It is a client-facing, operationally critical position within an established practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and attend property showings, open houses, and leasing activity
  • Handle showings independently when needed
  • Manage client inquiries and follow-up with speed and professionalism
  • Maintain listings across MLS and marketing platforms with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist with marketing execution, including listing preparation, photography coordination, and digital promotion
  • Track client activity, listings, and deal progress (Excel)
  • Prepare materials for listings, showings, and transactions
  • Handle on-the-ground responsibilities: checking listings, installing lockboxes, meeting inspectors, and managing property logistics
  • Support transactions from contract through closing, ensuring timelines and documentation are handled properly

Requirements

  • Licensed in DC, MD, or VA, or willing to obtain a license quickly
  • Prior real estate experience preferred
  • Reliable car and willingness to travel throughout DC, MD, and Northern VA daily
  • Highly responsive and able to prioritize in real time
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving ability
  • Professional, polished, and comfortable working with high-end clientele
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with technology (MLS, Excel, social platforms); interest in using AI tools to improve efficiency is a plus

Additional Expectations

This role requires consistency, responsiveness, and a high level of personal accountability. You should be comfortable managing responsibilities independently and ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Ability to Commute:

  • Washington, DC 20016 (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
