Job Description
We are looking for an experienced WordPress& PHP Developer who will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining websites and web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in PHP, WordPress CMS, plugin development, theme customization, and integrating thirdparty APIs.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP code.Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins based on requirements.Convert Figma / XD / PSD designs to WordPress (pixel-perfect).Integrate and customize WooCommerce, payment gateways, and APIs.Ensure websites are responsive, fast, and optimized for SEO.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.Manage website migrations, hosting environments, and backups.Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong proficiency in PHP, WordPress, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.Experience with custom theme and plugin development.Knowledge of WordPress hooks, actions, filters, and WP Query.Familiarity with REST APIs and thirdparty API integrations.Experience with WooCommerce development (optional but preferred).Understanding of web security, performance optimization, and best practices.Experience with Git, cPanel, hosting management, and debugging tools.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projectsIf you are interested please share your cv at maitrayee.bhattacharjee@capgemini.comDOI- 4th AprilMoi- VirtualRegardsMaitrayee Bhattacharjee
