Job Description
Manage financial reporting and investor communications as an Accounting & Investor Relations Specialist. Ensure accuracy in financial performance reports while serving employee-shareholder needs in a fully remote work environment. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional with a comprehensive background in accounting and stakeholder relations.
You will support the finance team's reporting functions and maintain relationships with employee-shareholders through effective communication. Key tasks include preparing financial documents, managing compliance, and facilitating communications during shareholder meetings all while upholding Canadian regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Support accounting processes and financial reporting
- Ensure timely sales tax compliance and filings
- Develop materials for shareholder meetings
- Liaise with executive leadership on financial information
- Monitor and maintain accurate shareholder documentation Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- CPA designation is a plus
- 5 years’ experience in accounting or investor relations
- Fluent in English and French
