Job Description

The React Developer will support the development and enhancement of modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for the agency’s public-facing digital platform built on Drupal WCMS. The developer will design and implement reusable UI components, integrate front-end applications with backend services and APIs, and ensure compliance with federal accessibility and web standards.

The role involves collaborating with UX designers, backend developers, DevOps teams, and product stakeholders to deliver high-performance digital experiences that serve millions of users annually. Developers may work at different experience levels, contributing to UI development, code quality, performance optimization, and accessibility compliance within an Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React-based front-end applications
• Design and implement reusable UI components
• Build responsive and mobile-friendly user interfaces
• Integrate front-end components with REST APIs and backend services
• Ensure compliance with Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards
• Collaborate with UX designers and backend developers
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD workflows
• Optimize front-end performance and usability
• Participate in Agile sprint development cycles
