Role Description The Senior Security Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This role oversees day-to-day security operations, including supervising security guards, coordinating schedules, and ensuring coverage across assigned sites. The Senior Security Supervisor conducts site inspections, monitors incident reports, and ensures adherence to company policies, client protocols, and regulatory standards. They provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to team members while promoting a culture of safety, professionalism, and customer service. The role also includes liaising with clients, responding to escalated incidents, preparing reports, and collaborating with management to improve processes, training, and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security supervision or management, with strong leadership, team coordination, and mentoring skills.
• Solid understanding of security operations, risk assessment, incident response, and access control in commercial, residential, or public environments.
• Strong communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, make sound decisions during incidents, and manage conflict or de-escalation professionally.
• Familiarity with security technology and systems, such as CCTV, alarm monitoring, patrol tracking tools, and incident management platforms.
• Valid security guard license for Ontario (or eligibility to obtain), with up-to-date first aid/CPR and any required provincial certifications.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
• Reliable transportation to sites across the Greater Toronto Area and the ability to perform on-foot patrols and physically demanding tasks as needed.
• Previous experience in high-profile, critical infrastructure, or event security settings is an asset.
• Post-secondary education in security management, criminal justice, law enforcement, or a related field is considered an advantage.
