Role Description

We are seeking an Information Technology Specialist in a full-time, on-site capacity in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area. In this role, you will be responsible for managing network infrastructure, maintaining systems and ensuring IT operations run smoothly. Your daily duties will include troubleshooting technical issues, implementing and monitoring network security protocols, and providing user support and training. You will work collaboratively with various departments to enhance IT systems and ensure optimal performance while safeguarding information security.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Network Administration and Information Technology to manage and maintain computer networks and systems effectively.
• Expertise in Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical problems efficiently.
• Knowledge of Network Security practices to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of organizational data.
• Strong Customer Service and communication skills to provide exceptional support and training to end-users.
• General knowledge of software solutions and ability to adapt to evolving technologies.
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to preventing and mitigating technical issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable.
• Experience in nonprofit organizations or environmental conservation is a plus.
