Job Description
What you’ll do As a Recruiter at Canadian Tire you will be supporting executive recruitment operations. You will play a critical role in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent that supports the Company’s purpose of “Making Life in Canada Better.” In this 12-month contract opportunity, you’ll partner closely with hiring managers and HR stakeholders, delivering recruitment solutions across a diverse portfolio of corporate roles. This role requires you to be onsite 4 days a week in-office. Manage a diverse portfolio of executive and corporate job requisitions, handling multiple positions simultaneously in a high-volume environment Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle: includes pipelining top talent, sourcing passive and active prospects, screening applicants, presenting candidates to hiring managers, coordinating and conducting interviews, advising on candidate selection, extending and negotiating offers, and managing administrative tasks. Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, candidates, and subject-matter experts. Set expectations clearly, develop strong recruitment strategies and talent recommendations. Efficiently manage the recruitment process using the Applicant Tracking System (Workday) to ensure accurate recruitment metrics. Utilize recruitment tools such as Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Database, and others to drive activities and strategies. Participate in and support special projects in collaboration with HR Ops, Workday Architecture, and other stakeholders as needed. What you bring 3-5+ years of corporate recruitment experience, including executive recruitment experience. Agency experience considered a strong asset. Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume desk: multiple job requisitions simultaneously at various recruitment stages Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment and building excellent relationships with stakeholders. Strong communication skills and the ability to act as a brand ambassador. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems/HRIS systems and various recruitment sourcing tools.
