Drive impactful labour relations as an experienced Labour Relations Advisor. Engage in supporting collective contracts and union negotiations while managing employee relations effectively. This crucial role entails providing direction and advice on labour policies and collective agreements while collaborating with unions and contractors. With over 7 years in the field, you will develop and implement effective practices for preventing and resolving labour issues, ensuring a harmonious work environment. Your strategic insights will guide project management for pivotal activities, enhancing operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support labour policies and legislation interpretation
  • Liaise with unions for grievance handling
  • Build and maintain key relationships externally
  • Develop project strategies for turnarounds
  • Create comprehensive labour relations procedures Requirements:
  • Degree in Human Resources with Labour Relations focus
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of Alberta's labour laws
  • Background in unionized work environments
