To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What you'll be doing As a member of CIBC’s IT Operations Service Governance team, you will be a subject matter expert and lead design and implementation of governance and oversight practice for Technology Operations processes and controls, including regulatory requirements, industry standards and third party risk management. In this role, you will support SOC1 and SOC2 requirements for a major technology infrastructure provider during the annual review process to ensure adherence to these key controls. The role independently resolves a variety of ambiguous challenges with organization-wide impacts, devising new methods using strong analytic and inductive thinking. How you'll succeed Understanding and Documenting Requirements - Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements. Primarily working with Rates desk but since it is a cross asset risk management platform they will opportunities working on other asset classes as well. Solution Design - Build client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance. Leading and Mentoring – Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert, and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems. Who you are You can demonstrate experience with 5+ years in a compliance role leading and maintaining programs with the ability to elicit requirements and write strong documentation and/or 8+ years in an infrastructure management or infrastructure operations role. It’s an asset if you have at least 2 years of Confluence/Jira experience, while working in an Agile environment. You put our clients first. You engage with purpose to find the right solutions.
