THE ROLE
Under the supervision of the Manager, Community Recreation, the Aerobics Instructor plans, organizes and delivers aerobics classes. They prepare class schedules, design programs and assist with the advertising and public relations.
Qualifications Needed
Education, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma and some years of experience conducting aerobics classes
Aerobics Instructors Certification
Experience
Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications In planning, organizing, and delivering aerobic classes In monitoring and controlling large groups of participants In ensuring safety protocols and procedures In providing customer service
Competencies
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
