Lead total compensation strategies with a focus on employee engagement and retention at our Ottawa office. This full-time, bilingual role requires strategic oversight, team leadership, and expertise in compensation frameworks. The Director, Total Compensation, will direct policy development and oversee the implementation of competitive compensation practices.

You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring alignment with business needs and HR strategies while driving employee motivation and retention. This role demands collaboration with stakeholders and regular analysis of compensation trends for informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

• Direct compensation policies and framework development
• Analyze competitiveness of compensation programs
• Advise management on organizational structures
• Conduct job evaluations and maintain internal relativity
• Collaborate with HR and Finance on budgeting Requirements:
• 10 years of relevant experience required
• 3+ years managing teams essential
• Unionized environment experience is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS
