Costumed Mascot Performer for Meet & Greet

font-size: 12pt;">Pay Rate:&nbsp;<strong> $22.00 hourly</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Role Requirements:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THE FOLLOWING DAYS/SHIFTS:</strong></span> <ul> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Wednesday, April 15th - 10 am to 5 pm</span></li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Thursday, April 16th - 10 am to 5 pm</span></li> <li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS TO BE ABLE TO FIT INTO MASCOT COSTUME:&nbsp; MUST BE BETWEEN 5’8” ft - 5’10” and size M - XL</strong></span></li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">This is fully costumed, including a bodysuit to be worn underneath the costume and a full headpiece</span></strong></li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The Mascot costume is full body and head; wearing the costume is an essential function of the position&nbsp;</span></strong></li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Must be skilled at movement and dance</span></strong></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Some other things to be aware of:</strong></span> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Mascots must never speak in costume, but rather communicate with the public through body language, gestures and the support of the Mascot Handler.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">The performer must be tall enough for clear visibility through the eye openings.</span> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Note</strong>: There is some flexibility with sizing; however, for the most animated and expressive performance, performers who are 5’9” and above will have the easiest time in this costume.</span></li> </ul> </li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Mascots must never stand still and keep up the animation at all times to make magic happen!</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Applying force to the mascot costume may damage it - must handle with care during use.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Mascots must always be aware of their surroundings with the support of the Mascot Handler and with the safety of guests and team as the top priority.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">This costume includes a built-in fan that inflates portions of the suit, which may limit audibility and make it difficult to hear while inside. Performers must be comfortable working under these conditions.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Must be prepared to collaborate closely with the Mascot Handler to establish clear, safe communication procedures that ensure the safety and well-being of both the team and our guests.</span></li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Must be 18 years of age or older</span></strong></li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States</span></strong></li> </ul>
