Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in Science / Humanities with a strong academic background
- B.Ed. / D.Ed. in Special Education
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Ability to teach grade-level Mathematics in the Junior School
Role Objective
The Special Educator will play a vital role in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment by identifying and addressing diverse learning needs. The role involves providing individualized academic support, enabling students with special educational needs to participate confidently in the mainstream classroom, and working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) through observation, interaction, and collaboration with teachers
- Develop and implement Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs) tailored to students’ learning profiles
- Provide in-class support and targeted one-on-one assistance in English and Mathematics
- Implement strategies that help students overcome learning barriers and build confidence
- Work closely with the Psychological Counselor to support students requiring emotional or behavioural guidance
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate updates to teachers and parents
- Participate actively in SEN meetings and collaborative student support planning

Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month
