Job location: NJ (Hybrid with 3 days onsite at client)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our production systems. The ideal candidate will combine software engineering and operations expertise to build and maintain resilient infrastructure, automate operational tasks, and improve system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability of applications and infrastructure.
• Design and implement automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve system scalability, monitoring, and performance.
• Implement observability tools including monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.
• Develop tools and scripts to automate repetitive operational tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Linux/Unix system administration.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
