Job description HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Technical Program Manager, Supplier Quality & Manufacturing Readiness to help scale its supply chain and prepare suppliers for production. Youll work closely with the Senior Technical Program Manager of Quality and Reliability and a supplier quality team of 40+ people, leading initiatives that mature quality systems, track supplier readiness, and ensure suppliers meet critical build and launch milestones. The ideal candidate combines strong communication, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to lead without authority, influencing cross-functional teams to deliver quality outcomes on tight timelines. As a Technical Program Manager, you''ll: Support supplier readiness and production scaling efforts across the supply chain. Partner with the Senior TPM and supplier quality team on strategic and day-to-day quality initiatives. Collect, clean, interpret, and present data to monitor supplier performance, identify trends, and justify improvements. Track APQP and PPAP progress and lead supplier approval activities for build and ship milestones. Maintain accurate supplier quality data and report risks to build or launch readiness. Manage communication of key documentsspecifications, quality manuals, and supplier requirementsto external partners. Use Google Sheets/Excel for analysis, Looker/Tableau for visualization, and Jira/ETQ for project and quality tracking. Communicate effectively with executives, engineers, and suppliers, tailoring information for each audience. Requirements Bachelors degree in engineering, supply chain, or another technical field (masters preferred) 8+ years of experience in program management or a similar role, ideally within the automotive, consumer electronics, aerospace, or defense industries. Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel; experience with Looker or Tableau preferred. Familiarity with Jira and ETQ or similar quality systems. Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to adapt messages across audiences. Proficiency in data analyticscollecting, cleaning, and interpreting data to drive decisions. Demonstrated ability to lead without authority and align cross-functional teams Strong communication skills, including active listening, effective documentation, and tailoring messages for different audiences (executives and engineers). Ability to collect, clean, interpret, and present data to drive business decisions and process improvements. Nice-to-Haves Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, quality systems, and manufacturing processes. Understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and material flow. Familiarity with BOMs and change management (ECNs/ECOs). Experience in automotive, consumer electronics, or aerospace/defense industries. PMP certification is a plus.
