Role Overview
Looking for a Senior Lead Developer + Architect to act as SPOC for the Pod, replacing a client FTE Sr. Development Manager. The candidate must demonstrate strong technical leadership, architectural ownership, and maturity to independently drive delivery.
Mandatory Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Development
- Strong expertise in:
- Python
- Spark
- Scala
- SQL
- Hands-on experience with:
- Azure Databricks
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Apache Airflow
- Strong ETL development & Data Warehousing concepts
- Banking domain experience (minimum one required):
- Payments
- Transaction Systems
- AML
- Core Banking
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Power BI (Data visualization & reporting)
- Exposure to ML workflows / MLOps
- Knowledge of Data Governance & Compliance
