Overview

We are looking for a strong Active Directory & Entra ID engineer to support multiple divestment projects.

The engineer will work under the direction of the Lead Solution Architect and will focus on discovery, build, migration, and documentation tasks across several identity separation initiatives.

This role is hands‑on and requires someone with experience in AD/Entra migrations, global-scale directory environments, and enterprise security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform AD and Entra ID discovery (users, groups, devices, service accounts, GPOs).
• Document identity, authentication, and application dependencies.
• Build new AD forests/domains and Entra tenants based on architectural standards.
• Configure hybrid identity (AAD Connect or Cloud Sync).
• Support user/group/device migrations using Quest Migration Manager, QODM, ADMT, or similar tools.
• Assist with environment validation, cutover execution, and post‑migration stabilization.
• Produce technical drafts: runbooks, checklists, migration reports, and operational documentation.

Required Skills

• 5–8+ years of enterprise Active Directory engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID (MFA, Conditional Access, sync, identity governance).
• Hands‑on experience with directory migrations/divestments/forest‑to‑forest moves.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for data extraction and automation.
• Experience with migration tooling (Quest Migration Manager, QODM, ADMT, etc.

Nice-to-Have

• Microsoft certifications (MS-102, SC-300, AZ-104).
• Experience in migration-heavy environments (M&A, carve-outs, restructuring).
• Familiarity with privileged access controls and cyber security best practices.
