5th Year Apprentice or Journeyman (313A) — Commercial HVAC Technician

Burban Air Systems Ltd. is a 45+ year established, family-owned commercial HVAC contractor serving the Greater Toronto Area. We are a highly customer-focused service provider trusted by property managers, commercial buildings, and condominium boards for long-term service relationships.

We are currently hiring either a strong 5th Year Apprentice OR a fully licensed 313A Journeyman to join our growing team.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues
• Repair or replace parts, test systems, and make necessary adjustments
• Use hand and power tools, meters, and material-handling equipment
• Identify and report faulty operations or material concerns
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Work with vendors to source replacement parts and materials
• Ensure all work meets company standards and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
• Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used

What You Bring

• 5th Year Apprentice or fully licensed 313A Journeyman
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools
• Experience with commercial HVAC or mechanical building systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-driven team player who thrives in fast-paced environments
• Valid G-Class driver's license with clean record
• Physically capable of lifting, ladder work, and extended standing
• Working at Heights training (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong time-management skills and attention to detail
• Customer-service-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Required Licenses / Certifications

• 313A or apprenticing as a 5th Year
• TSSA Gas Technician Certification — G2 required, G1 an asset
• ODP/ODS Certification
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract

Pay: $110,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
