Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Farm Manager to oversee Broiler Chickens daily for 37 days with birds in the barns and then 3 without. The ideal candidate will live close to the farm and complete daily operations.
Duties
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and barn equipment
- Complete daily paperwork and record keeping
- Walk through barns 1-2 times per day to monitor bird health, crop production and mortality
- Manage inventory of all supplies
- outside maintenance all year round, cut grass, maintain all buildings
Requirements
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and performing manual labor in various weather conditions
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and planning
- Prior experience with Poultry production is an asset but not a requirement.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
