Broya is a Canadian premium bone broth company. We're pouring serious focus into Meta ads, and we need a dedicated video editor to turn ideas into scroll-stopping creative — fast.

You'll work directly with our founder (Nima) and our community + brand lead. No agency in the middle. The three of us own the creative engine end-to-end.

Send your CV, a short note and a reel of 3–5 short-form ads you've edited (ideally for e-commerce brands), plus at least one example where AI tools were part of the pipeline. We care more about the work than the resume.

What you'll do

• Edit short-form video ads for Meta (Reels, Stories, Feed) — primarily 9:16
• Use AI tools (Nano Banana, Higgsfield, Seedance) as a core part of your workflow, not an afterthought
• Iterate fast — we ship a high volume of creative variants and let the data tell us what wins
• Sit in on creative briefs to shape the concept before you cut
• Take winning ads and produce variations (hook swaps, format swaps, audience swaps) to extend their life
• Help build out a library of reusable hooks, B-roll, and AI-generated assets we can pull from week over week

Must have

• Hands-on experience with AI creative tools. Nano Banana, Higgsfield, Seedance — you've actually used them on real projects, not watched a tutorial. This is the non-negotiable.
• Short-form editing chops for Meta ads specifically — pacing, hooks, captions, sound design, mobile-first framing
• Direct response instinct. You know the difference between a brand film and an ad that converts. You understand why the first 3 seconds matter and how to lead a viewer to a buy decision.

Nice to have

• Past experience producing Meta ads for e-commerce / DTC brands (we'll train you on what wins for Broya — but a head start helps)
• Comfort working async with a small, founder-led team
• Interest in food, wellness, or the ancestral-health space

How we work

• Small team. You'll be in our Slack, in our briefs, and in the loop on what's working in market.
• Fast feedback loops. If something tests well we double down. If it doesn't we move on — no precious darlings.
• Founder-led creative. We set the direction. You bring it to life and push back when you have a stronger idea.

Logistics

• Type: Contract
• Location: Remote, but Toronto-based preferred — we like to run editing sessions live and you'd be close to where filming happens. You don't need to be a filmmaker yourself, but proximity helps.
