Registered Nurse in Women & Child Unit

Join Brockville General Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Women & Child/Surgical Unit, where your nursing skills will make a difference. As a seasoned Registered Nurse, you'll coordinate under the Department Manager and Team Lead to deliver exceptional care in line with CNO standards.

Your role requires continuous education and adherence to quality assurance programs, ensuring a patient-centered approach. Your expertise in Caseroom and medical-surgical nursing will be vital in promoting health and safety across the unit. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nursing care to patients within CNO standards
• Participate in service and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain current nursing certifications and competencies
• Document patient care consistently and accurately
• Teach and support patients through medical-surgical education Requirements:
• BScN and member of Ontario College of Nurses
• 2 years of Caseroom and post-partum experience
• Certification in IV and BCLS required
• Experience in labor and delivery, Newborn Nursery preferred
