Job Description

Shape the future of BC’s natural resources as a District Manager, balancing stewardship and economic growth. Lead a skilled team while enhancing community and Indigenous relationships. This role focuses on guiding forestry and land management efforts within the Peace District.

You'll support and mentor a diverse team, ensuring that reconciliation with Indigenous partners is emphasized in all projects. Your efforts will contribute to sustainable forest practices and the management of public lands for long-term benefits. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee management of forest resources and operations

  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously Requirements:
  • Degree in Natural Resource Management or similar
  • 4-5 years in public sector management or related field
  • Strong experience in stakeholder relations and strategic solutions
  • Proven leadership in a unionized and multi-disciplinary setting
