District Manager for Forest Management

You'll support and mentor a diverse team, ensuring that reconciliation with Indigenous partners is emphasized in all projects. Your efforts will contribute to sustainable forest practices and the management of public lands for long-term benefits. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee management of forest resources and operations
• Collaborate with stakeholders on environmental projects
• Provide leadership and mentoring to emerging professionals
• Implement strategic partnerships with Indigenous groups
• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously Requirements:
• Degree in Natural Resource Management or similar
• 4-5 years in public sector management or related field
• Strong experience in stakeholder relations and strategic solutions
• Proven leadership in a unionized and multi-disciplinary setting
