Part-Time Health Records Coder Position

In this crucial role, you will report to the Manager and ensure precise coding and abstraction of inpatient and NACRS records. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years' experience with CIHI coding standards and knowledge of health records science. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate inpatient and NACRS records for completeness
• Code and abstract clinical data using 3M-HDM
• Generate daily and monthly data quality reports
• Maintain established data submission timelines
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment

Requirements

• Graduate in Health Records Technician/Health Information Management
• Certification from Canadian College of Health Information Management
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
• Minimum 2 years of DAD and NACRS experience
• Accurate keyboarding speed of 50 wpm
