Bilingual Virtual Mental Health Intake Coordinator & Triage Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a Bilingual compassionate, clinically experienced professional to join our growing virtual health care team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for incoming referrals, conducting intake assessments, triaging cases based on clinical requirements, and coordinating care pathways with our multidisciplinary clinical team. Your work will directly support timely access to mental health care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual intake assessments of case files for mental health support
• Triage referrals based on clinical presentation and urgency, escalating as appropriate
• Liaise with insurers, case managers, and clinical staff to ensure seamless handoffs
• Maintain accurate, PHIPA-compliant clinical documentation
• Support the team in tracking outcomes and return-to-work milestones
• Participate in regular clinical team check-ins (virtual)

Qualifications

• Registered and in good standing in one of the following disciplines:
• Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Registered Social Worker (RSW)
• Registered Psychotherapist (RP)
• Nursing Degree (RN, RPN, NP, LPN) with Mental Health work experience
• Demonstrated experience in mental health, with working knowledge of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other modalities
• Prior experience in intake coordination, triage, or case management in a mental health or disability management setting is a strong asset
• Comfortable working independently in a fully virtual environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with PHIPA/PIPEDA compliance standards
