We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions using modalities such as psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health emergencies effectively while ensuring client safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate medical terminology, behavioral health principles, and case management techniques.
• Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accuracy in medical documentation and records management.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote counseling sessions, expanding access to mental health services across different settings.
• Engage in clinical research initiatives to stay current with best practices and contribute to the advancement of mental health care.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist LMSW, LGPC or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent credential.
• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with disabilities in outpatient or inpatient settings.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral management techniques, crisis management protocols, and social work principles.
• Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health.
• Experience delivering evidence-based therapies such as motivational interviewing, PTSD care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Proficiency in telehealth technology platforms and experience providing remote patient care is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to handle crisis situations effectively.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
