Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Employment Type: W2 Only
We are currently hiring for a Java Developer position with one of our direct clients in Reston, VA. This is a long-term hybrid opportunity for candidates with strong backend development and cloud experience.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially Lambda
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms
- Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes is a plus
- Front-end knowledge with Angular or React is an added advantage
