Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering.
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical layouts for precise repairs.
• Service vehicles with tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake replacements to ensure optimal performance.
• Repair or replace components related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), ensuring proper calibration for safety features.
• Execute diesel engine repairs and powertrain work on GM vehicles or similar models with precision and attention to detail.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools safely and effectively.
• Perform wheel alignments to improve vehicle handling and tire longevity while adhering to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks accurately, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality control procedures while delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Proven dealership experience or equivalent service technician experience demonstrating strong automotive repair skills.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and diagnostics tools.
• Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, transmissions repair, diesel engine maintenance, and powertrain servicing.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and general auto service tasks.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately for complex repairs.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
• Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not mandatory.
• Certification in automotive repair or relevant technical training is highly valued.
