Voice Picker (India)

• Voice-Directed Picking: Receive instructions via headset (e.g., aisle, item, quantity) and verbally confirm actions to a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Order Fulfillment: Locate, select, and palletize items for customer orders while navigating the warehouse optimally. Accuracy Verification: Ensure the correct product is picked and verify it verbally or with a barcode scanner/RFID scanner. Safety & Efficiency: Operate, if necessary, electronic pallet transporters (tuggers) or forklifts, and maintain a safe, clean work area. Inventory Control: Update the central database in real-time regarding item locations and inventory levels.
• Experience: Previous warehouse, order picking, or logistics experience is often required. Technology Proficiency: Experience with voice picking systems (e.g., headsets, RF scanners) or a willingness to learn. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and work in diverse temperatures (including cold storage) for long periods. Communication Skills: Strong auditory skills to understand instructions and clear verbal skills to confirm tasks. Accuracy: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy rates in high-speed environments.
