Job Description
As a skilled and experienced Microbiologist with 25 years of hands-on experience in microbiological processes, media optimization, and bioreactor handling, your role will involve supporting R&D or QC functions in fermentation, strain maintenance, microbial analysis, and yield optimization for industrial and cosmetic applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor bench-top/lab-scale bioreactors for fermentation processes.
- Calibrate lab instruments (e.g., Conduct biomass/yield analysis through gravimetric or spectrophotometric methods).
- Perform MLT for raw materials, in-process samples, and final products.
- Analyze purified water, RO water, and microbiological quality of water samples.
Qualifications Required:
- Education: M.Sc. in Microbiology (mandatory).
- Experience: 25 years of relevant lab experience in fermentation, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or food industries.
- Experience in handling secondary metabolites fermentation processes and yield analysis.
- Expertise in lab equipment calibration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with water analysis, MLT, and standard microbiological testing.
- Basic understanding of GLP/GMP and laboratory safety norms.
In addition, the company prefers candidates with experience in cosmetic ingredient fermentation or biopolymer production. Immediate availability or readiness to join within 30 days is preferred.
