Teaching Principal for Horizon Colony School

The successful candidate will retain a 1.0 FTE (100%)
permanent position as Teaching Principal at Horizon Colony School. Horizon Colony School is a Kindergarten‑Grade 12 colony school with 31 students located on the Horizon Colony, near Lowe Farm, Manitoba. Teaching responsibilities of this position include middle years (all subjects) and supporting senior years students in ISPL (independent self‑paced learning). The position will commence September 8, 2026. We are looking for candidates with experience teaching middle years, effective classroom management skills, and an understanding of multi‑age teaching.

Experience
- Must hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- Preference will be given to a teacher with related teaching experience
Salary and Benefits:
The compensation package for this position is in accordance with the 2022‑2026 Provincial Teachers’ Collective Agreement between Manitoba School Boards Association and Manitoba Teachers’ Society.
