About the Role
Are you passionate about uncovering the insights hidden within data? As a Data Scientist, you will dive deep into the intricacies of IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to make a real-world impact. At Booz Allen, you will transform complex data into actionable solutions that address critical challenges across various sectors, including fraud detection, healthcare advancements, and national security.
As part of our team, you will leverage your leadership skills and data science knowledge to generate meaningful outcomes. You will collaborate closely with clients to identify their unique questions and needs, exploring their rich data landscapes to piece together information effectively. Guiding your colleagues and leading the development of algorithms, you will harness the most appropriate tools and frameworks to deliver objective insights that empower informed decision-making.
Your Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with data science programming languages, such as Python or R.
- Proven ability in creating ETL pipelines, including querying APIs, data cleaning, and schema design.
- Familiarity with version control tools like git, GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques.
- Capability to design and implement automated analytics software, techniques, and algorithms.
- Experience developing solutions and integrating free and open-source software (FOSS) or COTS products.
- Proficiency in generating data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or ArcGIS.
- Current TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in data science, or 7+ years of experience in data science in absence of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SIGINT, and the associated tools.
- Background in intelligence or operations analysis within the DoD or Intelligence Community.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is a plus.
Clearance Requirements:
Qualified candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

Our compensation range for this role is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 annually, reflecting various factors such as experience and location.
