About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Developer Co-op / Intern for May 2026 intake, who wants real hands-on experience building production systems. You will work directly on the backend infrastructure that powers the BookMyHelp platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Java / Spring Boot
• Build and maintain REST APIs for web and mobile applications
• Work with PostgreSQL databases
• Assist with real-time features using sockets/WebSockets
• Debug issues and improve system performance
• Collaborate with the team on backend architecture and improvements

Requirements

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related field
• Basic knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or relational databases
• Understanding of REST APIs
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
