ABOUT THE ROLE The GM - Sales growth and business development plays a critical role in driving revenue growth, sales strategy execution, and operational excellence across centers.

This role combines strategic thinking with execution rigor, partnering closely with the Chief Sales Officer to design and implement scalable sales strategies, improve forecasting accuracy, and enhance overall business performance.

The incumbent will act as the central engine for sales performance, planning, and growth initiatives, ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain to deliver predictable and sustainable revenue outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and operationalize sales strategies and go-to-market plans, aligning with overall business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Drive revenue growth initiatives including customer acquisition, upsell/cross-sell strategies, and expansion into new markets or channels.
  • Own and improve the sales funnel effectiveness from lead generation to conversion, ensuring optimal throughput and efficiency.
  • Act as the key interface between the CSO’s office and business centers, ensuring alignment on targets, execution priorities, and performance outcomes.
  • Lead regular business reviews, performance tracking, and center-level interventions to identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
  • Design and implement sales planning frameworks, including target setting (top-down & bottom-up) and capacity planning.
  • Own the sales forecasting process, integrating pipeline data, historical trends, and market insights to improve forecast accuracy and predictability.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and performance tracking systems for pipeline health, conversion metrics, and revenue variance analysis.
  • Standardize and optimize end-to-end sales processes (lead-to-order, order-to-cash), improving efficiency and reducing cycle times.
  • Develop and deploy sales playbooks, SOPs, and best practices across centers to ensure consistency in execution.
  • Define and drive sales KPIs and performance frameworks such as conversion rate, average selling price (ASP), customer acquisition cost (CAC), and revenue per center.
  • Coach and enable center leaders on performance improvement and strategy execution, not just target achievement.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, finance, and product teams to align demand generation, inventory planning, pricing, and promotions.
  • Lead strategic initiatives such as new channel development, pricing optimization, digital sales transformation, and process automation.
  • Support the CSO in annual operating plans (AOP), strategic planning, and key business projects.
