Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and personable Esthetician to join our beauty and wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional skincare and beauty services, ensuring a relaxing and satisfying experience for clients. This role offers an opportunity to showcase a diverse skill set, including skincare, body treatments (body polish, wraps, waxing and relaxation massage), lash & brow tinting, and nail care. This Dual role also requires front desk experience, as you will manage reception duties and client check-ins to foster a welcoming environment from start to finish.

Duties

• Perform a variety of skincare treatments such as facials, body treatments, with attention to sanitation and safety standards
• Provide nail care services including manicures and pedicures
• Assist guests at the front desk with check-in, appointment scheduling, and product recommendations
• Conduct product demos to educate clients on skincare lines and retail products
• Engage in retail sales through upselling complementary products and services to enhance client experience
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment areas and tools in compliance with health regulations
• Offer personalized consultations to recommend suitable treatments based on individual skin types and needs
• Foster guest services by creating a welcoming atmosphere, addressing client inquiries, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Qualifications

• Valid Esthetician license/certification in accordance with provincial requirements
• Proven experience in skincare treatments, body treatments, and nail care preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols in a spa or salon environment
• Ability to perform retail sales through effective upselling techniques
• Excellent communication skills to educate clients about products and services
• Friendly demeanor with a passion for helping guests look and feel their best
• Experience in front desk operations or guest services is a plus
• Professional appearance and positive attitude committed to providing exceptional guest experiences

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14.5 per week
