Lead Scala Developer

As a full-stack developer at BMC Helix, you will play a crucial role in delivering world-class enterprise platforms for Multi-Cloud Services. Here is a summary of the key responsibilities and qualifications required for this role:

• *Role Overview:**

You will be working closely with product managers, consuming services teams, and architects to understand requirements and design service and module designs. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality and timely deliverables, enforcing unit tests, addressing security and performance issues upfront, and ensuring performance and scalability are integral parts of each delivery.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Passionate about quality and demonstrates creativity and innovation in building and enhancing the product
• Quickly learn and adapt to new languages and technologies as required for successful product delivery
• Drive release planning and iteration planning meetings with accurate estimations
• Write incremental code as part of continuous integration and continuous delivery
• Work closely with peers and stakeholders to understand the end-user perspective
• Mentor junior team members and be an excellent team player
• *Qualifications Required:**
• Minimum 12-14 years of experience with Full-Stack Development, using CI/CD
• Minimum 5 years of Scala development experience
• Excellent logical, analytical, debugging, and communication skills
• Conversant with OOPS concept and MVC architecture
• Hands-on experience in Advanced/Object-Oriented Java, Springboot, AngularJS 5.x+, NodeJS, jQuery
• Experience with web pack, express, angular cli, unit testing frameworks
• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
• Worked on Integration with Web Services (JSON/REST/SOAP)
• Experience with Jenkins, Jira, Git, or similar tools
• Previous experience working on large-scale enterprise products (n-tier architecture)
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
• Implementing automated testing platforms
• Ability to adapt to existing and new environments
• Experienced in working with Agile development methodology and virtual teams
