Job Description
Job Title: Commercial Fire Alarm & Security Technician

- The estimated pay range for this role is $30 - $35 per hour based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, program, test, and service commercial fire alarm systems in compliance with applicable codes.
- Install and troubleshoot intrusion/security systems, including Honeywell and DMP panels.
- Install and maintain IP and analog CCTV systems, including cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and networks.
- Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on fire alarm, intrusion, access control, and CCTV systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for effective device layout and installation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in low-voltage system installation and service.
- Proficiency in programming and servicing Honeywell and DMP security platforms.
- Solid understanding of fire alarm code requirements and industry standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot IP/network issues and basic knowledge of networking concepts.
- Strong communication skills to effectively relay technical information to customers and project managers.
- NICET certification is a plus, or must be willing to obtain one.
