The Role

As an Australian Tax Accountant, you will be the backbone of our compliance delivery. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will manage the end-to-end tax requirements for a diverse portfolio of Australian CPA practice clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Management: Prepare and review Australian individual and business tax returns (including Companies, Trusts, and Partnerships).
• Finalization of Accounts: Conduct year-end finalization for various business entities, ensuring all financial statements are audit-ready.
• Regulatory Alignment: Ensure strict adherence to Australian Tax Office (ATO) regulations and local professional standards.
• Financial Reporting: Perform detailed financial review analysis and oversee complex accounting processes to ensure accuracy.
• Workflow Integration: Collaborate with local and global teams to deliver high-quality outcomes within our secure, streamlined systems.

What You’ll Bring

• The Basics: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CA / CMA qualifications are highly preferred.
• Tax Expertise: Proven experience in Australian Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and BAS/GST processes.
• Software Proficiency: Expert-level familiarity with Xero and MYOB. (Knowledge of BGL/Class is a bonus).
• Analytical Mindset: A sharp eye for detail and a solid grasp of Australian accounting principles (IFRS/AASB).
• Resilience: The ability to remain organized and accurate, even during peak lodgment seasons.
• Communication: Strong English communication skills to collaborate effectively in a global team environment.
