Radio Frequency Machine Learning (RFML) Engineer Intern, Secret Clearance Eligible

Position Summary:

The RFML (Radio Frequency Machine Learning) Engineer Intern will work closely with our engineering team to develop and implement machine learning algorithms for RF applications. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates with a background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, who are enthusiastic about the convergence of RF technology and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing RF signal processing algorithms.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on machine learning model development and testing related to RF systems.
• Analyze data sets and understand RF system performance metrics.
• Utilize software tools for simulation and modeling of RF signals.
• Support the integration of machine learning techniques into RF algorithms.
• Document methodologies, results, and insights for further improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of RF theory, signal processing, and common RF components.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python or MATLAB.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Due to the nature of the work, you must be eligible for a security clearance and must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RF testing equipment and measurements.
• Knowledge of wireless communication standards (e.g., WiFi, Bluetooth, LTE, 5G, SATCOM).
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools.
