<p><strong>Location:</strong> Pentagon(On-site)<br><strong>Clearance:</strong>&nbsp;TS required (SCI eligibility required)<br><br></p> <p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p> <p>Blue Sky Innovators is seeking a <strong>mid-level Anti-Tamper (AT) Subject Matter Expert</strong> to support the<strong>&nbsp;Anti-Tamper Executive Agent (DoD ATEA)</strong>&nbsp;within SAF/AQL.</p> <p>This role is ideal for a <strong>experienced professional with a strong policy background</strong>&nbsp;who can operate at the intersection of <strong>strategy, policy, and engineering</strong>. The successful candidate will help shape and refine Anti-Tamper policy while maintaining a working understanding of the technologies those policies govern.</p> <p>You will serve as a <strong>critical translator between the engineering and policy communities</strong>, ensuring that DoD Anti-Tamper guidance is both technically informed and operationally executable.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul data-start="1113" data-end="2046"> <li>Support the <strong>development, review, and refinement of Anti-Tamper policies, guidance, and frameworks</strong></li> <li>Translate <strong>technical Anti-Tamper concepts and system implementations</strong>&nbsp;into clear, actionable policy and strategic guidance</li> <li>Analyze current and emerging <strong>Anti-Tamper technologies</strong>&nbsp;to inform policy decisions and updates</li> <li>Provide <strong>policy recommendations</strong> to the ATEA and SAF/AQL leadership on program protection and technology safeguarding</li> <li>Coordinate with <strong>engineers, program offices, Anti-Tamper Service Leads (ATSLs), and senior stakeholders</strong>&nbsp;to ensure policy alignment with real-world implementation</li> <li>Assist in preparing <strong>briefings, decision papers, and executive-level communications</strong></li> <li>Participate in <strong>Anti-Tamper Steering Groups (ATSGs), working groups, and cross-functional forums</strong></li> <li>Support integration of <strong>policy updates with ongoing acquisition and program protection efforts</strong></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong></p> <ul data-start="2081" data-end="2410"> <li>Ability to <strong>bridge the gap between policy and engineering</strong>, translating complex technical ideas into strategic direction</li> <li>Strong understanding of how<strong>&nbsp;policy is developed, staffed, and implemented at the Pentagon level</strong></li> <li>Intellectual curiosity and willingness to <strong>learn and grow within the Anti-Tamper domain</strong></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></p> <ul data-start="2448" data-end="2843"> <li>Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)</li> <li><strong>Active TS clearance (SCI eligibility required)</strong></li> <li>Experience as a <strong>&nbsp;staff officer or equivalent headquarters-level role</strong></li> <li>Strong background in <strong>policy development, staffing, and coordination within the DoW</strong></li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>DoW acquisition and program protection processes</strong></li> <li><strong>Ability to work 100% on-site at the Pentagon</strong></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul data-start="2885" data-end="3340"> <li>Prior experience with <strong>Anti-Tamper, Program Protection, Export Controls, or Critical Program Information (CPI)</strong></li> <li>Exposure to <strong>advanced defense systems or systems engineering concepts</strong></li> <li>Experience supporting <strong>SAF/AQL or similar Air Force acquisition organizations</strong></li> <li>Proven ability to engage with <strong>senior leaders and cross-functional teams</strong></li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in <strong>executive-level messaging</strong></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Why This Role Matters</strong></p> <p>As Anti-Tamper challenges grow more complex, the DoW needs professionals who can <strong>connect policy to reality</strong>.
